New capabilities, contracts, and substantive content updates. Corrections have their own log. Cosmetic edits stay out of both.

AI opt-out signals: who says they honor what
A new reference and dataset: for 14 AI and search operators, whether their own documentation says they honor robots.txt training opt-outs, robots meta tags, noai, Content-Signal, the IETF AI-preferences draft, TDMRep, and RSL. Every Yes quotes the operator; every not-stated cell lists the pages and terms searched, and a script re-checks both. Finding: only robots.txt tokens and a few robots meta rules are documented as honored; no operator's pages mention the newer signals.
UPD-018
Verbatim evidence and archived sources for the AI crawler directory
27 of 32 crawler records now carry exact quotes from the operator's documentation, each tagged with the field it supports and checked by script against the live page. Every source has a Wayback Machine snapshot. The five records whose pages cannot be fetched automatically (Bing, Meta) say so. The review found one error, logged as COR-006.
UPD-017
robots.txt checker, user-agent lookup, record search, and review dates
GET /api/v1/robots-check evaluates a robots.txt per RFC 9309 for one crawler or all 32 in the directory. GET /api/v1/identify says which documented crawler a user-agent string claims to be and how to verify it. Search now returns individual dataset records with their cite lines. Every record carries a review_due date, and /api/v1/health lists records past it.
UPD-016
Game server histories move to their own section
The RuneScape and general private-server histories now sit in a separate Game server history section at /games, apart from the agent web reference that BOZOS specializes in. Every URL is unchanged.
UPD-015
MCP fixed, cite lines, reported conflicts, and GET for every tool
The MCP server moved to /api/mcp because the host intercepts /mcp (COR-005). Every dataset record now has a cite line to quote verbatim. The crawler directory adds Diffbot, Diffbot-User, YouBot, and AI2Bot from operator documentation, marks where a primary source reports behavior that contradicts the documentation (Cloudflare on Perplexity, with Perplexity's response), and lists Bytespider and cohere-ai separately as undocumented. Every POST utility also answers GET with ?json= or ?b64=. Contact details carry a [via:surface] tag so the agent-contact experiment can tell surfaces apart.
UPD-014
Verifiable sizes, record permalinks, and dataset change queries
Requested by an external agent review. content-index.json now gives bytes, SHA-256, and ETag for every file it can hash, plus a build id. Every dataset record has a permalink, and ?id=<record> returns one record. GET /api/v1/changes?since=YYYY-MM-DD lists records added, changed, or removed. /api/v1/health reports the build and checks each dataset hash. Fair-use limits are published in agents.json and openapi.json, and search results link the dataset. All changes add fields; none remove or rename one.
UPD-013
BOZOS is now an MCP server, with site search and Markdown notes
Added a public, read-only remote MCP server, now at /api/mcp after a move logged as COR-005 (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in) with search, fetch, and every utility as a tool, plus a server card for discovery. Added keyword search at /api/v1/search for URL-only agents, and Markdown versions of every archived note, served by content negotiation.
UPD-012
RuneScape private servers: modern guide and Sarim case study
Expanded the RSPS reference from history into a current guide: OSRS-based servers, RuneLite and its client rules, openly licensed emulators (RSMod, 2009scape, Lost City), an eight-question FAQ, a checklist for evaluating a server, and a dated case study of Sarim, a semi-custom OSRS server. Corrected the description of Jagex's rules.
UPD-011
AI crawler directory and URL-only tools
Published a verified directory of 28 documented AI and search crawler tokens with a robots.txt builder, and GET utilities for time zones, date arithmetic, exact arithmetic, and text counting that work for agents limited to fetching URLs.
UPD-010
API catalog and CORS for machine-readable files
Published an RFC 9727 API catalog at /.well-known/api-catalog with a health endpoint, and served every JSON index, dataset, and schema with CORS and ETag validators.
UPD-009
Agent contact, corrections log, and restored archive
Agents can now send corrections and questions by email or X using a published format and a no-send drafting utility. Added a public corrections log, restored the original notes, calculator, and random-market simulation at their permanent URLs, generated every index from one manifest, and published Markdown versions of each reference.
UPD-008
RuneScape private-server history
Published a source-aware history and CC0 dataset covering revision 317, Winterlove, MoparScape, source families, revision culture, Classic preservation, and official community worlds.
UPD-007
Private game server history
Published a sourced introductory history and CC0 structured timeline covering MUD precursors, shards, server emulators, replacement networks, preservation projects, and licensed community services.
UPD-006
Agent utility conformance suite
Published CC0 machine-executable request and assertion vectors, all run against the built utilities before deployment.
UPD-005
Agent Web Signals Field Guide
Published a static, citation-backed reference in HTML, JSON, and plain text that distinguishes standards, specifications, proposals, conventions, capabilities, and authority.
UPD-004
Conditional retrieval planner
Added a stateless planner that turns resource metadata, cache validators, and budgets into a minimal fetch, revalidate, skip, and defer plan.
UPD-003
Agent discovery audit and content inventory
Added a no-fetch discovery audit, a stable machine-readable content index, and a compact JSON update feed.
